The Institute of Climate and Environmental Governance (ICEG) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting climate and environmental governance in Africa. The organisation was formed in response to the growing need for effective climate and environmental governance in the region, and it is committed to helping African countries transition to a more sustainable future.
Technical Solutions
ICEG works to develop new and innovative technical solutions to climate and environmental problems in Africa. This includes researching new technologies, such as renewable energy and sustainable agriculture, that can help mitigate the impacts of climate change and other environmental challenges.
Economic Solutions
ICEG is committed to promoting economic solutions that are sustainable, equitable, and inclusive. They research and advocate for economic policies that support climate and environmental governance in Africa, including access to sustainable finance and investment.
Behavioural Solution
ICEG also recognizes the importance of changing human behaviour in promoting climate and environmental governance. They engage with communities and other stakeholders to raise awareness about climate and environmental issues, and work to promote behavioural changes that will lead to more sustainable practices.
